About Us

BeLaris began with a perfume collector who could never stop searching for the perfect scent. Our founder and perfumer, Ahmad, turned that lifelong passion into a craft.

He trained under master perfumers in Dubai and Malaysia, collaborating with respected Arab fragrance houses, then apprenticed with the personal perfumer to the Sultan of Brunei. That apprenticeship gave him access to some of the world's most coveted raw materials, including the legendary Oud Borneo, harvested from the Sultan's protected plantations.

Made in Toronto

Today, every BeLaris scent is handcrafted in small batches in downtown Toronto, so each one is a limited edition. We partner with Canadian breweries for clean, organic alcohol, made to skip the headache of basic fragrances. From Toronto, BeLaris has grown to Belgium, Singapore, Dubai and Malaysia.

Our name, a fusion of English and Indonesian, carries our philosophy: "be so good they can't ignore you." Each fragrance is a bridge between East and West, tradition and innovation.

Above all, we hope to inspire fellow collectors to pursue the craft themselves: to experiment, layer our scents and create a signature that is entirely their own.
